Chapter Headings

For The Battle for Liberty I have created chapter headings. Each chapter will have identical scroll work, but the drawings in the center will be different. The small sketches pertain to what is going on in each chapter, as do the larger drawings. My new book will have a lot of illustrations. What do you think of this idea? Is it cute? Distracting? Helpful? Creative? The worst idea ever? There are a couple examples below. The titles will be placed so that they sit between the bottom curls. Let me know your thoughts. I really do care.

Dilemma Resolved

Well, no one here helped me with my cover issue (sad face), but my friends and family on Facebook still love me. They loved the original, but we all decided it was indeed too childish for my target audience. Therefore I came to this glorious gilded resolution of my problems. You can still tell me your thoughts if you'd like. I love input.

Liberty Cover

I have a dilemma. I'm not entirely sure I like the cover I made for The Battle for Liberty. Because of that I designed three more. I'd love to hear your thoughts. My mother says one thing, my husband says another, and a good friend has even a third opinion. Apparently I need a greater pool of input. What is your favorite one? Why? Fonts and their colors can change. I just want to know what overall image you like best. Keep in mind, it's a fantasy with a fairytale feel that's about a wild princess. Help me please?
