A Photo A Day 31: Boo!

Happy Halloween! We stayed in tonight and handed out candy. Tomorrow night is our party night. I didn't take many pictures, but I do have a nice shot of my epic creepy tree pumpkin. I carved it myself-the second one I've ever done in my life. Yay! So Boo! Don't get too scared and pace yourself on that candy...no need for belly aches!

A Photo A Day 30: Pillow

Yeah, okay. That's random. Here's a pillow from our temporary room in Sammamish.

A Photo A Day 29: 9:15 am

Well, since I was driving to work at 9:15 am this morning, there is no way I could have (safely and sanely) taken a picture. Therefore I shall share a picture from 9:15 pm. And when I say 9:15 I mean 10:15. And when I say 10:15 I mean 10:50. I'm a bad person. This photo is of our mostly packed, bare walled main room. We are moving tomorrow so everything is pretty much good to go, though we aren't taking everything. Since we will be living at my in-laws' house temporarily there will be no need to bring furniture, food consumption tools, or anything else they will have there. We mostly need just clothes, but we're bringing other stuff too so we won't have to make too many trips between Seattle and Spokane. Without further ado, I give you our room.

A Photo A Day 28: Simple

A photograph is never simple. Even if the subject is simple, getting it there is not. Not always at least. But we can pretend it's simple for the sake of this post. This simplicity consists of a simple subject and only that subject: rope. I'm also gonna add in a picture of myself because we're friends and I like keeping my friends updated. This update is that I chopped all of my hair off! Don't worry, I did donate it to Locks of Love. The craziest thing about this haircut is that my hair is now the shortest it's been since I was four. That's nearly twenty years. I did cut my hair drastically in eighth grade, the first time I donated my locks, but at that point my hair was still longer than shoulder length. My hair is now slightly shorter than shoulder length. Yikes! But I like it, so it's all good.

Harvest: Gonzaga/Green Bluff

Timmy and I had fun driving around Spokane for our anniversary. We're pretty chill people as far as celebrating goes. I got to take pictures and our brother-in-law took us to a lovely diner for some awesome breakfast food, so I'm happy. Here are the non-anniversary photos I took today. The fall leaves are really making an appearance now, so the areas to which we traveled were gorgeous. Still are I'm sure...leaves don't fall off that quickly.

A Photo A Day 27: My Pick

My pick? Why, thank you! Welp, I'm going to share with you a photo from my husband's and my anniversary photo shoot. That's right, folks! As of today, October 27, 2013, we have been married for one wonderful year. We're still newlyweds I guess...not really sure when that stage ends. Anyway, this photo we took at sunrise on top of Steptoe Butte using a tripod and self-timer. I had to get up at 5:15, but it was so worth it. We took lots of other pictures too, all of them around Gonzaga's campus, and I'll decide later if I want to share any of those. For now, enjoy this beautiful sunrise picture. I like it.

Palouse, Washington

And here are the other photos from Palouse. They're the less-edited versions of the ones I posted the other day plus a lot more I just really liked. Tim and I stopped a few times along the side of the road so I could capture some spectacular shots. He loves me so much.
