Glacier National Park: Day 1

Okay, peeps. This is how it's gonna work. I will go through and show you our adventures in Glacier National Park day by day. After those 4 days are over...maybe 5, we'll count the day home if the pictures are plentiful...I will throw in pictures of animals. After that I will do panoramas. That way it's all chronological like some of you may enjoy, but the special pictures will have their special place like others of you enjoy. Here is day 1. It's the first day we saw any scenery, because during the drive over it was dark (we left at 10 or so on Friday night). So we were just as happily surprised as you will be, though the pictures (as always) do not do the park justice. I may provide captions for the heck of it. You were warned.

This is the hike we took at Logan Pass
 Hidden Lake

 Tunnel ceiling
 Sunlight through campfire smoke

 Campground boat launch

Glacier had the most motorcyclists I've seen in one place

Lots of bikers went up this road

In some parts the road was more narrow than this
 Tour cars-they're convertibles

I call this one "Peekaboo Peak"

 They provided (expensive) helicopter tours

 Wild Goose Island
