Close-up Photography

Close-up photography shouldn't be confused with macro photography. Macro photography can be taken only by certain lenses and by definition is only when a subject is photographed greater than life size. Those crazy photos of flies and other insects with their compound eyes are macro photographs. Close-up photography is simply taking a picture of something from a close range. Since I have no macro lens (yet), all my close range photos are close-ups.
