Day 15: Silhouette

Pretty much everybody knows a silhouette when they see it. In essence, a silhouette is created when a subject is back lit in such a way that it appears to be naught but a shadow. The detail is low and the contrast (difference between light and dark hues in a picture) is high. They are some of the more artistic photos as they play mostly with light rather than the particulars of the subject.
