Grunge is an effect created to make objects look dingy and a bit rusted. Some photographers have used it on portraits to make them more dramatic. Apparently it brings about frightening and powerful emotions, but i think everything just looks old and broken down. Then again, I never understood the part of photography where the artist tells a tale about the meaning behind the process and presentation of the photo. I take pictures and make them look certain ways because I think it looks cool. Easy enough, eh? No need to make up some bull to make people like it better. If it's true, great. If it's not, keep it to yourself. Anyway, the two shot glass pictures were edited on my iPhone, and the others were done through Photoshop.
