Reflections

Reflections are fun to photograph, but they can be tricky. Most of the time you don't want your viewers to see the reflection of your camera, or especially of you. Playing with angles is key. You have to be in the right spot to capture the perfect reflection. Sometimes keeping your own reflection makes things interesting, but most of the time it just takes away from the photo. Reflections in water also make for great photos. You see a lot of landscape shots with a mountain both in the background and reflected on a lake, or there may be a reflection of a building. My favorite photo in this lot is the one of the boat, or rather, the rear corner of the boat reflected on the water from below the surface.
