I could have looked up a Photoshop tutorial on how to make a photo look vintage, but I decided to go for easy way out and use my iPhone app instead. I know, that's totally lazy. Oh well. There are three different filers labeled "vintage" on that particular app, but the one I like best is number 3. That effect gives better coloring and contrast than the other two. The best thing about the vintage filter is its versatility. Many photo edits look best when applied to certain subjects or even particular photos, but this one makes sense on any photo. It can be applied to actual vintage objects or used as an ironic adjustment on a current photo.
