I specialize in close-ups. It's enjoyable to capture details that many people simply overlook. This picture serves as a great example. Loads of people see brick day-to-day. They even live in a brick house, and the Commodores wrote a song for such buildings. However, have you ever taken the time to see details in the brick? I mean, besides the color. Our campus used a bunch of yellow bricks with ridges in them. The ones on the house I live in now look like...well, here you go.
