Unfortunately, this is not the season for flowers. Normally I'd still be able to find flowers somewhere, but that "normally" applies to living in Texas where there aren't four strict seasons. Spokane, however, adheres to the general consented definition of four seasons, and it is currently winter. Fortunately, there is more than one way to skin a cat, just as there is more than one way to capture an image containing flowers. My flowers, as you will see, are not real. I took a walk around my husband's childhood home and found some of my mother-in-law's cute decorations. Voila, the out-of-the-box way to skin a cat. I guess he wasn't Schrodinger's.
