Have you ever thought about people's faces? I'm not sure one is perfectly symmetrical. My ears, for instance, are not at the same height. One is a few noticeable millimeters higher than the other. In one of my photography classes we had a project on creative portraits and were shown examples from previous years. One individual decided to show what people would look like if their faces were indeed perfectly symmetrical. I decided to give it a shot. Until this project I never realized how difficult it is to take a picture exactly head-on. Here are the three best ones I conjured. And yes, it does work on animals too!
